The Common Room Fram

In February of 2013, myself George, and my wife Sue decided to open the Common Room Café here in Framlingham.
We had previously both been chefs at The Kings Head (The Low House) pub in Laxfield.
After some renovations and many visits to local charity shops and auctions, we moved in and opened in May.
We provide a homely, relaxing and friendly atmosphere, with service to match. Children are welcome, and there is plenty for them to entertain themselves with.
Everything we cook is sourced as locally as possible, and is all prepared and cooked here. The menu is more a guide, as we will make you pretty much anything you want, as long as we have the ingredients.
We very much look forward to seeing you, and hope you enjoy your visit.

Thank you for an excellent lunch yesterday – we were the group of five who came in around 1.30. Great atmosphere and delicious food. We will definitely stop by again when in the area.

I love this place! I go to school in fram and whenever I have a couple of free periods or just want to hang out with a friend after school I don’t even have to think about where to go! This is by far the best place in fram for food or just a drink. Great quality food at very good prices, a really relaxed atmosphere and the staff are all lovely and attentive. 10/10
